Home Outfit is committed to protecting your privacy.
What we collect
Customer information (such as name, contact number, email address, and delivery details) is collected solely for the purpose of order processing and fulfillment. If you contact us, we also keep the details you send us, including any photos.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and are never stored on our servers.
Who we share it with
Information may be shared with logistics providers and customs authorities to facilitate delivery, and with service providers that run this website and our payments, but will never be sold, rented, or disclosed to unrelated third parties.
If you click "Accept" on the cookie notice, we also share browsing and order activity with the advertising and analytics services described below (Meta and Google).
Cookies and analytics
This site stores your cart in your browser so it is still there when you come back. That is strictly necessary and sets no tracking cookie. If we use analytics or advertising tools, they load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie notice, and you can say no.
When you open this site, our hosting provider works out which country your connection appears to come from, using your IP address, and tells the page only the two-letter country code. We use it for one thing: to show prices in Malaysian ringgit and flat-rate delivery to visitors in Malaysia, and US dollars to everyone else. We do not store your IP address or your location, and we set no cookie for this. The page keeps that country code in your browser, so the right prices appear straight away, and checks it again every time you open a page. You cannot choose it yourself.
Advertising and analytics (only if you accept)
If you click "Accept" on the cookie notice, we load Meta's pixel (used for Facebook and Instagram advertising) and Google Analytics. They record which pages and products you look at, when you add something to your cart, when you start checkout and when you buy (with the order value), together with your device and browser details and your approximate location from your IP address. We use this to measure how well our ads work, to improve the site, and to show our ads to people who may be interested.
When you start checkout or place an order, and only if you accepted, our server also sends Meta a copy of that event through Meta's Conversions API. That copy can include your email address, phone number, name and delivery city, region, postcode and country, which are scrambled (hashed) before they are sent, plus your IP address, browser details, the order value and the products. We also keep the link that brought you to our site (for example the campaign name of an ad) with your order, so we can tell which ads work.
If you click "Decline", or do not answer, none of this happens. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Meta and Google use the data under their own privacy policies: Meta and Google.
International transfers
We are based in Malaysia, so your order details are processed in Malaysia and by our service providers in other countries. By placing an order, you consent to Home Outfit's use of your information as outlined in this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide warranty service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To make a request, email general@homeoutfit.co. We will reply within a reasonable time.
